Plot
Nishant Barve (Umesh Kamat) is an Indian software designer who works and stays at America. During his return to Pune, India to get married with an Indian girl he loses his work permit. He decides to meet his fiancé, Madhura Godbole (Priyanka Barve) and inform her about the matter.
At the day Nishant is going to meet his fiancé he accidently meets Aditi Tilak (Mukta Barve) and is instantly attracted towards her. The same day Nishant comes to know that Madhura, his fiancé is more interested in American lifestyle than Nishant and he breaks up with her. A depressed Nishant who has lost his job does not know what to do.
Once he again accidently meets Aditi in the middle of the road who has her car's tyre punctured. Nishant offers lift to Aditi. He accompanies her to her home, where she shares her dream to have her own marriage bureau with him. She also tells Nishant about her family profession of astrology while Nishant shows his disinterest in it as he does not believe in astrology.
Aditi suggests Nishant to start his own business as he has a creative mind. Nishant applies for another job in the USA but is more interested in Aditi's business proposal. He decides to meet Aditi and get more details about the project from her and asks Aditi to get two people interested in her proposal and then he would invest in it.
Praful Patel (Shrikar Pitre) and his girl friend decide to assist Aditi in her proposal. Aditi and Nishant meet Praful's dad, Popatlal Patel whose a business man. He suggests them to create such a marriage institution by which they will have involvement in the marriage post the wedding as well.
Nishant and Aditi along with their associatives plan innovative ideas on how to fix a meeting between two people and how to plan their wedding and all other things. They decide on not to check horoscopes of the couple. Thus they start their marriage institution "Shubhvivaah" Rahul Kulkarni (Siddharth Chandekar) and Aanandi (Tejashree Pradhan meet each other through Shubhvivaah and decide to get married.
Soon people are attracted by this new way of getting married and this results in loss in business for Nalini "Nallutai" Dixit (Swati Chitnis), a renowned astrologer in the city. On the wedding day of Rahul and Aanandi she declares that their horoscopes don't match and the marriage won't last for more than six months. However Nishant and Aditi don't get affected by this.
Meanwhile, Aditi and Nishant fall in love with each other. Rahul and Aanandi start facing problems in their married life because of Aanandi's rigid nature. Rahul keeps meeting Aditi and Nishant to discuss his marriage problems with them and they keep suggesting him ways to keep Aanandi happy, but in vain. No matter whatever Rahul does Aanandi is never happy.
Nishant proposes Aditi and tells her that he rejected his job and a luxurious life in the USA just for her incomplete business proposal as he loves her. Aditi tells Nishant that no one has ever loved her as he does but she has not thought over it. One day, Rahul and Aanandi have a bad fight post which Rahul suffers from a deadly accident.
Aditi out of guilt that inspite of being warned by Nallutai that the marriage won't last due to mismatching of horoscopes she got Rahul and Aanandi married decides stop her marriage institution. An enraged Nishant tells Aditi that she is wrong on her decision and shows his disappointment and disagreement on her decision and decides to leave for America.
Meanwhile Aanandi realises her mistake and reconciles with Rahul. Nishant comes to know about Aditi's past. Aditi had lost her parents and twice her prospective grooms died due to some reasons and her marriage did not happen also if she would start with any work it would not last for more than six months. People blamed Aditi's destiny for this and no one dared to marry her or keep any kind of relation with her.
Nishant then understands why Aditi is always scared and insecure and how she did not respond to his marriage proposal, as she loves him and does not want him to get harmed due to her. Nishant meets Aditi and tells her that its high time she needs to move on and get married to someone and settle down.
