Paul John Wheatley (born January 29, 1979) better known by his artist name CRANE TECHNIQUE,[1] is an Irish-American musician and Songwriter[2] based in Ventura, CA.[3] Wheatley first gained prominence as lead guitarist and back-up vocalist for the San Diego-based piano rock band We Shot The Moon (The Militia Group).[4] Crane Technique was founded as Wheatley's solo music project in 2010, after releasing his first single, "Darling, Say Goodbye" (Broadcast Music, Inc.).[5] After much U.S. and international touring, he released numerous singles and a 5 song EP called Ghost White in 2014 (Broadcast Music, Inc., Sonic Parcel Records).[6] His latest single "Love U 4 It" feat. Modern Longing was released in May 2017.[7]
