Introduction
Welcome to my user page! My name is Esteban, and I'm a foreign English speaker from Santiago, Chile. I'm still in the process of improving my English, so I apologize in advance for any grammar/spelling mistakes I may do. I don't know if I can classify my English level in "intermediate" or "advanced". I encourage you to edit my user page and change this. In Spanish, however, I have a professional level of language, despite of my short age. My teachers tend to believe that I copied and pasted articles from the Internet in my homework, even if I wrote them.
I currently reside on Las Condes. I'm a student and I waste too much time on the Internet. I think I'm obsessed. I used to be a vandal, and I was about to launch my "great attack" with hundreds of sock puppets when I thought "Why the hell am I doing this!?". For that reason, I stopped and changed my mind. Also, because of this, I know lots of vandalism techniques and I can recognize them clearly. Before my attack (which never took place), I studied every single long-term abuse vandal of the site and I can clearly recognize most of them.
Activity on Wikipedia
Here, on Wikipedia, I spend most of my time checking the recent changes for vandalism.
I'm currently checking my books about snakes (I'm obsessed with them) to add some snake-related articles to Wikipedia. However, I find a bit hard to create an article. If you have any good tips, please leave them in my Talk Page.
I am not an active member in the other language Wikipedias, though I often check the Spanish one looking for spelling mistakes, grammar mistakes, punctuation mistakes or any sort of problem in the writing of an article. I am always glad to help. I may do short translations from the Spanish Wikipedia to the English Wikipedia (a couple of paragraphs), but I won't translate long articles since it takes me a lot of time and is very boring. If you need any short translation from the Spanish wikipedia, or anything related with the Spanish language, please leave me a message in my Talk Page .
Another thing I often do here is to create articles (well, stubs) about Chilean cities and towns. My main target now is to create an article for every city displayed on the List of cities in Chile.
My Life
My life can be summarized in a few words: sleeping, watching TV, listening to music, using the computer and school. I spend 12 hours a day sleeping if I don't have to go to school, and I can spend about 6 hours in the comp., but recently I've been wasting less time on it. I realized that I have no life, and I want to have a life. I don't want to be a geek.
I'm really stressed due to school. I'm currently on the second half of the year, waiting for the September 18th (Chilean Independence) holidays and the summer holidays, which begin in December. This MAKES a difference in my activity on Wikipedia. After a hard day of school, I usually make more typos and mistakes, so I avoid doing big edits during such days. Music
I LOVE userboxes, and I can't find a better way to tell my musical tastes than using them.
