Left Me Hangin is the second extended play by the American singer Jacob Sartorius, released on October 6, 2017[1]. “Hit Me Back” was released as the lead single on June 23 which was named the 12th best song of 2017 by The New York Times and the remaining five singles were released till October 2017.

Promotion

Singles

Sartorius released six singles from the EP from June to October 2017. Lyric or music videos for the songs were released on Sartorius’ Vevo channel on Youtube.[citation needed]

Tour

Sartorius will go on the “Left Me Hangin Tour” for the promotion of the album which will start in January 2018[2].

Critical reception

The MusicHype gave the album a half star out of five star rating and said “Yep, he’s back. Jacob Sartorius. Interestingly, the 'Sweatshirt' Musical.ly star arrives a bit older – he’s now 15. With age comes maturity…supposedly. Arguably, to his credit, the teen-pop upstart has improved gradually, even if just a smidge. Still, envisioning Sartorius as the next Justin Bieber seems far-fetched. Clearly, his second EP, 'Left Me Hangin’ is stronger than his first, 'The Last Text'. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves – there’s still plenty of kinks to iron out for Sartorius”[3].

Commercial performance

Thr album failed to make any chart appearance on any international albums chart and was a commercial failure.[citation needed]
