Facebook

I added some more possible last names represented by Yu, found on the Facebook group. Some of them might be wrong. For example, I couldn't get 刘 to show up by typing 'yu' in pingyin. So they might be just pronounciation differences across different dialects or such, or a mistake. Either way, the original version only had 3 characters, and there are obviously more.

I am also not sure if the Facebook group could be a valid source. Beginner 10:25, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm guessing that was a Korean Yu, not a Chinese Yu. Along with the "willow" character. -- pne (talk) 17:14, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Merge request with Yu (余) (surname)

Oppose merge with Yu (余) (surname). Should be done the other way round. Baksando 23:03, 13 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That was actually a request posted before Yu (Surname) was moved to Yu (余) (surname). I have removed it. --Voidvector 06:21, 14 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Split request

There was a long-standing split request which wasn't clear, so I have cleared that. However, I did find two other related articles to this one which were doing the same thing - listing people with the surname Yu - so I have merged them here. If that doesn't make sense, please correct or improve my actions - there is no need to get in touch with me. SilkTork *YES! 17:19, 6 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lmao this is from the guy in Rush Hour 2 (or was it the 3rd part) where Chris Tucker is talking to that blind chinese kungfu master and he says "my name is Yu"
