As stated in the talk page at Talk:UCI_Professional_Continental_Tour, the term "UCI Continential Circuits" is that term used by the UCI to denote the family of continential tours, including UCI America Tour, UCI Africa Tour, UCI Europe Tour, UCI Asia Tour, and UCI Oceania Tour. While I believe some of the other article is valid and appropriate for inclusion in wikipedia, I think it should be listed in a more appropriate manner. djharrity, 23:34, 23 October 2006 (UTC) 23 Oct 06

I agree, we don't really have a systematic method of listing the UCI's competitions and teams. I think your work so far is definitely in the right direction, and I will contribute as time allows :) Mk3severo 19:02, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:UCIAfricaTour.jpg

Image:UCIAfricaTour.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Split proposition

I propose to split to 5 separate articles: UCI America Tour, UCI Africa Tour, UCI Europe Tour, UCI Asia Tour, and UCI Oceania Tour. Each tour has own seasons articles, but no catmain article for it. NickSt (talk) 08:54, 31 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What was before?

Organized cycling competitions have existed since 1900. So what kind of competitions preceded Continental circuits? What was before? What did they replace? Article needs to include those kind of information. This looks like cycling sport and competitions are some novelty and not one of the oldest sports. 213.149.61.164 (talk) 23:30, 25 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
