Welcome!

Hello, John Erwin descendants, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your recent edits did not conform to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and may have been removed. • John Erwin descendants, a few ground rules so we can clear the air and maybe move forward. First of all, please use edit summaries to explain what you're doing; it is considered especially rude to revert someone without explaining why, as you did with the last account. Second, as you know now, you can't have accounts that look like company or organizational names. Third, and most important, edits need to be verified, and in your case, what you were doing is inserting information which made it appear like it was sourced in the references that were there already--but that may not be true. Reliable, secondary sources please; see WP:RS. You do all that and I'll be happy to come by next time we make a day trip out to Greensboro, to pick up some pie. • User:Magnolia677, I just need you to look at this one thing: this. These folks' pies are renowned throughout the state--and you know it's close to the MS border. Hey, maybe we could meet there one time. WIKI-MEETUP SOUTHEAST! AuburnPilot, LadyofShalott, who's in??? Drmies (talk) 21:04, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies: Just down the road is a place called Smokin' Jack's BBQ. The sweetest ribs in Alabama. And I took this picture not too far from Greensboro. Some of the friendliest people you can meet anywhere live around there, and breathtaking beauty. My Wiki time and ability attend meetups has been curtailed due to a new baby, so I'll take a rain check on those mouthwatering pies. Cheers! Magnolia677 (talk) 23:07, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Magnolia677 y'all are just going to have to take that baby up to Montgomery some time. Take care and congratulations. Drmies (talk) 01:54, 21 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Drmies: @Magnolia677: I've actually eaten at Smokin' Jack's BBQ more times than I can count! I still have family in Demopolis and spent almost every summer there as a kid. Last few times I was there, I have to admit I've been going to A Slab and More. A little off the main road, and maybe not as fancy, but I love their BBQ. --auburnpilot talk 23:24, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
