  • Comment: The journal passes WP:NJOURNALS. However, like mentionned below, WP:JWG will contain the details on how to show that. In particular, the indexing information will be available at [1]. Headbomb {t · c · p · b} 12:07, 22 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Comment: Some handy tips for writing an article on an academic journal, see WP:JWG. For the moment, this is far from acceptable. Randykitty (talk) 21:59, 10 July 2019 (UTC)
  • Comment: Requires significant coverage in multiple independent reliable secondary sources. The journal's webpage is a primary source and not an acceptable reference. Dan arndt (talk) 03:26, 10 July 2019 (UTC)

American Political Thought is a quarterly peer-reviewed academic journal focusing on American "ideas, institutions, and culture."[1] It is published by the University of Chicago Press and sponsored by the American Political Thought organized section of The American Political Science Association.[2] [3] The journal bridges "the gap between historical, empirical, and theoretical research."[4] The journal, published in English, was established in 2012, and is "the only peer-reviewed academic journal exclusively devoted to its subject."[5] The founding editor was Michael Zuckert (University of Notre Dame). The current editors are Jeremy Bailey (University of Missouri) and Susan McWilliams (Pomona College).[6]
