Road Transport

  • HEBMÜLLER Volkswagenwerks motorvehicle. Types and history.
  • Edran Belgian make with a new supercar
  • Zero to Sixty An aggregate page that lists the 0 - 60 times for cars, obviously the high end stuff is most interesting. Ariel Atom is the fastest street legal car I know of at 2.9s.
  • Nissan Altra - this was an electric vehicle produced by Nissan in the 1990s; I think less than 100 units were actually on the road at any one time. Information is very sparse on them on the web.
  • Amectran Exar-1 Electric Vehicle - Amectran is the manufacturer, and has no corresponding article currently. Exar-1 is their most notable vehicle for its nearness to production and publication. Amectran.com has several scanned in articles/memos from various sources for use as references. The majority of the site is unsubstantiated opinions and has no place on wikipedia, but a formal presentation and discussion should be had. As long as a stub is started, I am more than willing to began expanding.
  • Powerchip - Performance engine tuning software designed to improve acceleration and optimize fuel consumption for peak response. Proprietory software allows manipulation of OEM maps to be changed to suit variable driving conditions. In particular, the Powerchip will focus on delivering optimal performance, even in the event of needing to increase fuel use (ie. raising boost on turbo applications).
  • Chrysler's 4.0L I6 HO engine- Can anyone help me find the info on the fuel efficiency of this engine? I recently bought a cherokee xj with this kind of engine, and I am wondering about its exact gas consumption.
  • Moto Morini - An Italian motorcycle manufacturer originally based in Bologne, founded by Alfonso Morini after WWII. Morini producing a limited range of niche sports motorcycles (most notably the Moto Morini 3½ Sport and Strada models), and enjoying some racing success. The business was sold in 1987 to Cagiva, and the name passed to Ducati's ownership in 1990, with production ceasing in 1991. The brand has been ressurected recently, with two new models released in the last 12 months. There are incorrect links from the articles 1949_Grand_Prix_motorcycle_racing_season and Giacomo_Agostini to an article about a tribe by the name of Morini, this should really point to an article about Moto Morini (and Alfonso Morini's other motorcycle manufacturing companies). Perhaps a disambiguation page is in order? That's the limit of my knowledge, so would someone care to expand, or create a stub?
  • List of Opel engines for example like "List of Volkswagen engines", chip tuning, tuning, concepts etc. Opel VS. VW and their differences of engines
  • I would like to see an article on the Hot Wheels model and concept car of the Twin Mill Link
  • I would like to see further information on water-powered engines and hydrogen from water used for practical energy uses such as Glenn Castillo's car that runs on 80% hydrogen. Link
Engines, etc; especially technologies for cars and trucks.
