Category:Featured pictures that have not appeared on the Main Page

This category holds all of Wikipedia's featured pictures (FPs) that have not yet been featured on the Main Page.

All FPs transcluding {{Featured picture}} but not transcluding {{Picture of the day}} are included here via the functionality of {{Featured picture}}. They are sorted according to the year and month of nomination with the oldest appearing first. If the system cannot determine the date, they appear at the very last.

Do not add {{Featured picture}} to files that are not featured pictures and do not add {{Picture of the day}} to files that have not yet appeared on the Main Page or have not been scheduled to appear. If you know of a featured picture that has not been on the main page but you do not see it in this list, contact User:Coffeeandcrumbs for assistance in resolving the issue. If a file that has been featured on the Main Page appears here, it is likely because it is missing a {{Picture of the day}} template. Please add {{Picture of the day|YYYY-MM-DD}} where YYYY-MM-DD is the date of appearance.
