Tag?[edit]
Has been marked for two years as needing "cleanup". Not clear what is wrong, since it looks better than many computer software articles. Maybe some work on wikilinks I suppose (remove red ones and add ones to some technical terms on first use)? W Nowicki (talk) 20:00, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- I expanded the article ages ago (in my early "Wikipedia career") and in augut 2011 an IP added that tag.(diff) Dunno why, imply remove it? mabdul 23:53, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
External links modified[edit]
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just modified one external link on ENQUIRE. Please take a moment to review my edit. If you have any questions, or need the bot to ignore the links, or the page altogether, please visit this simple FaQ for additional information. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/web/20100925204436/http://www.w3c.rl.ac.uk/primers/history/origins.htm to http://www.w3c.rl.ac.uk/primers/history/origins.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}).
As of February 2018, "External links modified" talk page sections are no longer generated or monitored by InternetArchiveBot. No special action is required regarding these talk page notices, other than regular verification using the archive tool instructions below. Editors have permission to delete these "External links modified" talk page sections if they want to de-clutter talk pages, but see the RfC before doing mass systematic removals. This message is updated dynamically through the template {{sourcecheck}} (last update: 15 July 2018).
- If you have discovered URLs which were erroneously considered dead by the bot, you can report them with this tool.
- If you found an error with any archives or the URLs themselves, you can fix them with this tool.
Cheers.—InternetArchiveBot (Report bug) 15:47, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
HyperCard[edit]
ENQUIRE was similar to Apple's HyperCard which also lacked clickable text and was not "hypertext"
Certainly HyperCard had hypertext. Everything in Hypercard could be made into a link, most certainly including text. -- Calion | Talk 03:01, 29 December 2019 (UTC)
