Eric H. Davidson

Dr. Eric H. Davidson is a world-renowned developmental biologist. He is at Caltech university and devoted large part of his life to understand embryogenesis in sea urchin and other animals.

Professor Davidson wrote many fundamental books over his long career, beautifully explaining how simple embryo develops into complex body forms. His books always present the state-of-the-art in research.

The most recent book "The Regulatory Genome: Gene Regulatory Networks In Development And Evolution" came out in 2006 and received rave review.

His previous book on the same topic came out in 2001 - "Genomic Regulatory Systems: Development and Evolution" - and has been accepted amongst the most authoritative sources on this topic.
