Human Life International is an American based Roman Catholic activist pro-life organization. Founded in 1981 by Fr. Paul Marx, HLI is located in Front Royal, Virginia, and is currently headed by Fr. Thomas J. Euteneuer. With 59 satellite offices in 51 countries, Human Life International describes itself as "the largest international, pro-life, pro-family, pro-woman organization in the world." Although it is a Roman Catholic organization and its founder received the endorsement of Pope John Paul II [2], it has been known to collaborate with organizations that are not Catholic.
The current public relations director for HLI is Jason Scott Jones.
John Salvi confessed that pamphets from the group led him to attack two abortion clinics, one in Virginia and one in Massachsetts.
