Linda Katehi

Linda P.B. Katehi was named by the Board of UC Regents on 7 May 2009 to serve as the sixth chancellor of the University of California, Davis, effective 17 August 2009. She currently serves as provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and professor of electrical and computer engineering. Prior to this position, she was the John A. Edwardson Dean of Engineering and professor of electrical and computer engineering at Purdue University.
