The 1999-2000 season was the 76ers' 51st season in the NBA and 37th season in Philadelphia.[1] The Sixers finished third in the Atlantic Division with a 49-33 record. Allen Iverson made his first All-Star appearance in the 2000 NBA All-Star Game. In the first round of the playoffs, they defeated the Charlotte Hornets, but would lose to the Indiana Pacers in the semifinals.
