The 2010 Country Music Association Awards is a music award ceremony that was held on November 10, 2010, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. It aired live on ABC at 8:00/7:00 PM Central. The show was hosted by Brad Paisley & Carrie Underwood.

Miranda Lambert was the lead nominee with 9 nominations, followed by Lady Antebellum. Brad Paisley notched three bids, including entertainer of the year. Reigning Entertainer of the year winner, Taylor Swift, only received one nomination, for Female Vocalist of the year.

When Miranda Lambert was nominated for nine awards in 2010, she broke a record for most CMA nominations ever received by a female artist in a single year.[1] The night's top honor, Entertainer of the year, went to Brad Paisley. Blake Shelton won Male Vocalist of the year, and Zac Brown Band took home New Artist of the year.[2]
