Rules for classification: 1) points; 2) head-to-head points; 3) head-to-head goal difference; 4) number of goals scored; 5) If after applying the criteria teams in question are still tied, they are placed in alphabetical order.[4][5] In any other case, the final standings of tied teams are determined with a public draw.[6]
(C) Champion; (R) Relegated.
Notes:
  1. ^ Panathinaikos were deducted 3 points due to extreme fan behavior.[1]
  2. ^ OFI were deducted 29 points in total. From those, 10 points due to failure to pay over former players' wages.[2]
  3. ^ Niki Volos were deducted 13 points and have been disqualified from the League due to financial issues.[3]

Positions by round[edit]

The table lists the positions of teams after each week of matches. In order to preserve chronological evolvements, any postponed matches are not included in the round at which they were originally scheduled, but added to the full round they were played immediately afterwards. For example, if a match is scheduled for matchday 13, but then postponed and played between days 16 and 17, it will be added to the standings for day 16.

Playoffs[edit]

In the play-off for Champions League, the four qualified teams play each other in a home and away round robin. However, they do not all start with 0 points. Instead, a weighting system applies to the teams' standing at the start of the play-off mini-league. The team finishing fifth in the Super League will start the play-off with 0 points. The fifth placed team's end of season tally of points is subtracted from the sum of the points that other teams have. This number is then divided by five.[citation needed]
