Tímea Babos and Kristina Mladenovic are the defending champions.[1]

Kateřina Siniaková and Barbora Strýcová are in contention for the WTA no. 1 doubles ranking at the start of the tournament. Strýcová can only attain the top ranking if she wins the title with Markéta Vondroušová and Siniaková fails to reach the third round with Barbora Krejčíková.

Ekaterina Makarova will achieve the Career Super Slam if she wins the title.
