Early parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Peru on 26 January 2020.[1] The elections were called after President Martín Vizcarra dissolved the Congress of the Republic on 30 September 2019.[1]

Electoral system[edit]

The 130 members of Congress are elected in 25 multi-member constituencies using open list proportional representation.[2]
