The 2021 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is a college football bowl game that will be played on December 21, 2021, with kickoff scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EST (1:30 p.m. local MST) on ESPN.[2] It will be the 25th edition of the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and will be one of the 2021–22 bowl games concluding the 2021 FBS football season. The game is sponsored by the Idaho Potato Commission.

Teams

Consistent with conference tie-ins, the game will be played between teams from the Mid-American Conference (MAC) and the Mountain West Conference (MWC).

This is the first time that Kent State and Wyoming have ever played each other.[3]
