Onychostoma gerlachi is a species of cyprinid in the genus Onychostoma.[1] It inhabits inland wetlands in China, Laos, Thailand and Vietnam[1] and is used for food locally.[1] Its maximum length is 31.6 centimetres (12.4 in)[2] and maximum weight 1.0 kilogram (2.2 lb).[2] It is considered "near threatened" by the IUCN.[1]
