Zeytinlik is a village in the Ardeşen District, Rize Province, in Black Sea Region of Turkey.[1] Its population is 159 (2021).[2]

History

According to list of villages in Laz language book (2009), name of the village is Mamalaavla , which means "Mamala village". Most villagers are ethnically Laz.[3]

Geography

The village is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) away from Ardeşen.
