Synopsis
Anand (Ramarajan) becomes an estate manager in order to repay the debts of his elder brother (Delhi Ganesh) and support his family. However things go south, when Anand faces stiff challenge from the thugs in the course of his work. He finds assistance from an unlikely source in Kalpana, a martial artist who later becomes his teacher. But Kalpana soon develops love interest in Anand.
He rejects Kalpana because he always saw her as the guru/teacher and had respect on her while nothing else was in his mind about her. Meanwhile, Kalpana had pinned high hopes on him that he will marry her one-day only to be heartbroken. Anand later encounters Raadha a woman who goes to achiramam as a sex worker and Anand tries to change her into a good person. However, another twist awaits in for Anand as Raadha later develops interest in him and the grandma of Raadha decides to make her granddaughter's wish happen by having discussion with Anand's elder brother. Anand obviously is a person who obeys his elder brother on many occasions is shell shocked because Anand is in true love with Seetha (Rupini) and Anand has promised that he will only marry her. Anand does try to explain it to his elder brother by saying its his life and Seetha's life will be in question mark if he obeys to marry Raadha but the elder brother is not exactly convinced enough but the elder brother gives an option that its in the hand of Anand to decide whether to marry her or not. Things change when a group of men abduct Raadha and Anand goes in search of her and managers to rescue her from them meanwhile the grandma of Raadha somehow convinced the parents of Seetha to send Seetha out of the village so that her granddaughter Raadha can marry Anand. Seetha is accompanied by the grandma of Raadha to railway station in the climax and Anand after getting to know this gets frustrated and goes in search of her all the way to the railway station. Raadha later realises the true love between Anand and Seetha hence decides to sacrifice her life for them by convincing her grandmother by saying "Paati enoda kaadhal ah vilaiku vangunathu podhum.
