Zeydabad (Template:Lang-fa, also Romanized as Zeydābād, Zaidābād, and Zeid Abad)[3] is a city in, and the capital of, Zeydabad District of Sirjan County, Kerman province, Iran, and also serves as the administrative center for Zeydabad Rural District.
At the 2006 census, its population was 5,314 in 1,283 households, when it was in the Central District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 5,260 people in 1,402 households.[5] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 9,112 people in 2,335 households, by which time the city had been transferred to the previously established Zeydabad District.[2]
