Menna van Praag is an English novelist and journalist.

Biography

Menna van Praag was born in Cambridge and studied modern history[1] at the University of Oxford.[2][3] She worked as a waitress and struggled with being overweight.[2][4] Her mother and teacher[clarification needed] inspired her life. Her novella, a fable, Men, Money and Chocolate (2009)[3][5] has been translated into 26 languages.[1]

She currently lives in Cambridge with her partner,[1] who runs a vegetarian cafe.[2][failed verification] During 2021/22 she is a Royal Literary Fund Fellow at Anglia Ruskin University.[1]
