Federación Chilena de Instituciones Femeninas (FECHIF), was a women's organization in Chile, founded in 1944. [1]

The FECHIF functioned as an umbrella organization of the Chilean women's movement during the final campaing for women's suffrage and women's basic rights. Suffrage had been introduced at the municipal level in 1931, partially after the campaign by Comité Nacional pro Derechos de la Mujer, but not on national level. From 1944 an intense struggle took place. Women's suffrage was finnally introduced in Chile in 1949.
