Sniffies is an interactive, map-based hookup web app for gay, bisexual, and bicurious guys.[1][2][3][4]

The website features a map that shows the approximate locations of nearby users who are currently or recently online, as well as active groups and popular meeting spots in the area. Users can browse the map to view profiles, chat, and share pictures with potential partners in their area. Sniffies does not require registration to use; however, certain features, such as filtering results, require free registration.[1][4]

History

The website was launched in 2018 by founder Blake Gallagher in Seattle, Washington.[1][5] The name Sniffies came from an earlier website that was used for trading underwear, but now refers more to "sniffing out what’s around", according to its marketing officer.[1]
