Shaun Marquase Lovings (born c. 1984) is an American football coach. He is the running backs coach for the Arkansas State Red Wolves football team.[1] He previously coached for Dunbar High School, P. K. Yonge Developmental Research School, Mississippi State,[2] Louisiana–Lafayette / Louisiana,[3] Nicholls State,[4] and Austin Peay. He played college football as a walk-on tight end for Howard.[5]
In 2020, following the resignation of Mark Hudspeth, Lovings was named interim head coach for the 2020 season.[6][7][8][9] Due to COVID-19 the season was postponed after three games into the spring of 2021.[10] He was replaced by Scotty Walden prior to the start of the spring season.[11]
