Qolqol Rud District (Template:Lang-fa) is in Tuyserkan County, Hamadan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Farasfaj. Most of the villages are populated by Kurds.[3]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 21,011 in 4,913 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 19,572 people in 5,586 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 16,773 inhabitants in 5,178 households.[2]
