Frenship Independent School District is a public school district based in Wolfforth, Texas, United States.

In addition to Wolfforth, the district serves western portions of Lubbock and southwestern Lubbock County.[1] A small part of Hockley County also lies within the district.[2] About 9,400 students are enrolled at Frenship ISD.[citation needed]

In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.[3]

Frenship ISD has 14 schools; four schools are located in Wolfforth, nine are in the city of Lubbock, and one is in Lubbock County.
