Szczerbice [ʂt͡ʂɛrˈbit͡sɛ] (‹See Tfd›German: Sczyrbitz) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gaszowice, within Rybnik County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 1 kilometre (1 mi) east of Gaszowice, 9 km (6 mi) west of Rybnik, and 44 km (27 mi) west of the regional capital Katowice.

The village has a population of 1,980.
