Centawa [t͡sɛnˈtava] (‹See Tfd›German: Centawa, 1936-45: Haldenau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Jemielnica, within Strzelce County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Jemielnica, 9 km (6 mi) east of Strzelce Opolskie, and 38 km (24 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.

Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
