The 1992 Nicholls State Colonels football team represented Nicholls State University in the 1992 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The Colonels were led by sixth-year head coach Phil Greco. They played their home games at John L. Guidry Stadium and were a member of the Southland Conference. They finished the season 1–9–1, 0–6–1 in Southland play to finish in eighth place.
