Habibullah Sirajee (born 31 December 1948) is a Bangladeshi poet.[1][2][3] He was awarded Ekushey Padak in 2016 by the Government of Bangladesh for his contribution to language and literature.[4] He is serving as the Director General of Bangla Academy since 20 December 2018.[5][6] Sirajee is currently serving as the President of Jatiya Kabita Parishad (National Poetry Council).[1]
