Leila De Floriani is an Italian computer scientist and professor in the Department of Geographical Sciences at the University of Maryland at College Park with a Joint Appointment at the University of Maryland Institute for Advanced Computer Studies.[1] She is the Editor in Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Visualization and Computer Graphics. She was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2016[2] for contributions to geometric modeling and visualization.
