1942–43 Panhellenic Championship

The 'Union of Greek Athletes' started a League in Athens and Piraeus under the supervision of the German occupation army. During that period EPO had disbanded so the Union of Greek athletes (Greek: Ένωση Ελλήνων αθλητών) decided to organize the Pan-Hellenic Championship 1942/1943. The championship started in January 1943 and the games were held at Kaisariani (Athens). After short time the championship stopped, because of EPO having been re-established and taken over Greek Football organisation. At that point AEK was leading the championship having won three out of their first four games.^[1]

AEK - Panathinaikos (4-1)

EPO and UGA disagreed on whether the event held so far should be considered as official or not, so the championship restarted.

AEK - Asteras Athinon (1-1)
AEK - Thiseas (8-2)

The championship was abandoned once more, due to disagreement between the Greek Football Federation and the UGA. At that time AEK was leading the league with a record of:
