Subhashgram railway station is a Kolkata Suburban Railway Station on the Sealdah–Namkhana line with an approximate 20 kilometres (12 mi) distance from Sealdah railway station. It is under the jurisdiction of Eastern Railway zone of Indian Railways. Subhashgram railway station is one of the busiest railway stations of Sealdah railway division. More than 80 pairs of E.M.U. local trains pass through the railway station on a daily basis. It is situated in South 24 Parganas district in the Indian State of West Bengal. Subhashgram railway station serves Subhashgram town and the surrounding areas.[1][2]

History
In 1882Eastern Bengal Railway constructed a 1,676 mm (5 ft 6 in) wide Broad Gauge Railway from Sealdah to Subhashgram.
