Ullevaal Stadion, Oslo - venue for the Norwegian Cup final

The 2020 Norwegian Football Cup will be the 115th season of the Norwegian annual knock-out football tournament. It will begin with qualification matches in March and April 2020. The first round is scheduled to be played on 22 April 2020 and the tournament will conclude with the final being held on 25 October 2020.

A change to the schedule ahead of the 2020 season means that the Cup final will be played several rounds before the league finishes, rather than the week after it finishes, to avoid having the final in December.[1]

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the start was postponed. As a result the qualifying rounds were dropped and the lower league teams with the best league results last season got a direct spot in the tournament.[2]
