Lance H.K.Secretan

Lance H.K. Secretan (born in Amersham, United Kingdom) is a Canadian author of business books, best known for his work in leadership theory and how to inspire teams.[1] A former child actor[2], from 1967 to 1980 Secretan was the Managing Director of Manpower Limited, based in the UK, part of the global Manpower Inc. Between 1980 and 1985, he taught leadership at McMaster and then York University in Canada and since 1985, he has worked as an author, independent management consultant, and coach and keynote speaker.

Education

Secretan holds a M.A. (magna cum laude) 1977 from the University of Southern California[3] and he earned a PhD in International Relations from the London School of Economics in 1980.

Awards

Dr. Lance Secretan has been awarded the Top5 Speaker designation in Leadership. Recognition of excellence in speaking is based on: expertise, professionalism, innovation within the topic area, client testimonials & references, presentation skills, original contribution to the field and public votes received at the Speaking.com Web site.[4]

Secretan was awarded the Wilbur M. McFeely Award in 2003.[5] Recipients are individuals who have made outstanding contributions to leadership and management development, gaining national and international recognition for their books, articles, lectures, and other similar contributions.

Secretan received The International Caring Award[6] from The Caring Institute in 1999.

Secretan was voted #13 in the World's Top 30 Leadership Professionals for 2016

Lance Secretan's book A Love Story won a silver prize in the Poetry category in the 2016 Global Ebook Awards
