Parsadepur is a town and a nagar panchayat in Rae Bareli district in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh. Parsadepur has an ancient temple known as "midhurin mata" dedicated to Durga maa of Hindu tradition. There is a beautiful garden and park on the banks of the Sai river. Ansar Chowk is located within Parsadepur.It has mixed population of Hindu and Muslim. It's located on the NH 931A between Salon(Reabareli) and Jais (birth place of Malik Muhammad Jaisi). "Lacchi ke Samose" are some of the best snacks available here. It's at the distance of 30 Km. from Raebareli district headquarter. It comes within the jurisdiction of Deeh police station. Salon Tahsil is about 7 kms away from this place. It's very well connected to Unchahar, Raebareli, Amethi via road. Currently, no railway station is located in Parsadepur. It comes within the administrative jurisdiction of Lucknow bench of ho'nble High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Parsadepur had a population of 9,614. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Parsadepur has an average literacy rate of 47%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 56%, and female literacy is 37%. In Parsadepur, 18% of the population is under 6 years of age.
