The 2020–21 season will be Derby County Football Club's 137th season in existence and their thirteenth consecutive season in the second tier of English football, the Championship. Alongside the Championship, they will also compete in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup. The season covers the period from July 2020 to 30 June 2021.

Pre-season

It was confirmed on 24th July 2020, that the 2020/21 Championship season - delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic - would start on the weekend beginning the 12th September 2020.[1]
