Bursa ranelloides is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusc in the family Bursidae, the frog shells.^[1]

Distribution

This species occurs in European waters, the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico; and off South Africa, the Philippines and Japan.

The maximum recorded shell length of Bursa ranelloides tenuisculpta is 75 mm.^[2]

Minimum recorded depth of Bursa ranelloides tenuisculpta is 30 m.^[2] Maximum recorded depth is 250 m.^[2]
