Fukuno Station (福野駅, Fukuno-eki) is a railway station in the city of Gujō, Gifu Prefecture, Japan, operated by the third sector railway operator Nagaragawa Railway.

Lines

Fukuno Station is a station of the Etsumi-Nan Line, and is 32.9 kilometers from the terminus of the line at Mino-Ōta.

Station layout

Fukuno Station has one ground-level side platform serving a single bi-directional track. There is no station building, but only a waiting shelter on the platform. The station is unattended.

History

Fukuno Station was opened on July 1, 1952 as Gujō-Fukuno Station (郡上福野駅). Operations were transferred from the Japan National Railway (JNR) to the Nagaragawa Railway on December 11, 1986. The station was renamed to its present name on that date[1]
