Athlitiki Enosi Larissa 1964 (Greek: Αθλητική Ένωση Λάρισας 1964,[1] Athletic Union of Larissa 1964), founded in 1964, is a Greek multi-sport club based in the city of Larissa, capital of Greece's Thessaly region. The club is also known as AEL, or simply Larissa, and its colors are maroon and white.


The football team currently competes in Gamma Ethniki and the basketball team competed in the Greek Basket League.

A.E.L. 1964 currently plays at the A.E.L. F.C. Arena stadium, A.E.L.'s home since 2011. A.E.L. 1964 B.C. hosts its home games in the Larissa Neapolis Arena.
