Abaaley is a town in the southern Hiiraan region of Somalia.
Location[edit]
A small town, Abaaley is situated on the border between Somalia and Ethiopia. It lies on the banks of the Shabelle River.
Demographics[edit]
Abaaley is predominantly inhabited by people from the Somali ethnic group, with the Reer Aw Xasan especially well represented. They are principally engaged in farming and business activities.
