Price is known internationally as the creator and main writer of the Danish TV political drama Borgen.[1] In 2012, he received the award for best international series at the BAFTAs. He shared it with Jeppe Gjervig Gram (a fellow writer on the series), Søren Kragh-Jacobsen (one of the show's directors), and Sidse Babett Knudsen (the show's lead actress).[2]

His father John Price was a Danish actor and theatre director. His ancestors moved to Denmark from London in the late 18th century.[3]
