Adelaide United FC Reserves are Australian semi-professional association football teams based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 2008, it is the reserve and youth teams of Adelaide United. The teams currently compete in the National Premier Leagues (NPL) South Australia which is the second level of Australia's football pyramid as well as its reserve league and in the National Youth League (Y-League). The National Premier Leagues South Australia (NPL SA) sides play out of Smith Partner's Stadium and the NYL side play out of both Smith Partner's Stadium and Marden Sports Complex.

Reserve team history[edit]

Entry into National Premier Leagues[edit]

In October 2014, it was confirmed that the team would compete in the NPL South Australia and NPL South Australia Reserves competitions for the 2015 FFSA season entering in the State League, the second division.[1] They gained automatic promotion in their first season to the Premier League after finishing top of the table.

The team was founded in 2008, as an Adelaide United representative team for the inaugural season of the National Youth League competition.
