Against the Season are a hard rock group originally from California but now based in Utah.[1] Their musical style differs from their older brothers and sisters who have a background in R&B and pop.[2] Their hard rock sound is a possible result of lead guitarist Tiare's exposure to rock when she was young.[3]
Biography
Their parents immigrated to the United States from Tonga and raised their children in Minneapolis.[4] They are the younger brothers and sisters from a family of 17.[5] They have Tongan, Fijian and German ancestry.[6] The older eight brothers and sisters[7] are members of The Jets, who achieved fame and had a string of hits during the 1980s.[8]
They are also from the same family as pioneering steel guitarist Bill Wolfgramm.
