Ākenehi Hei

Akenehi Hei (c.1878–28 November 1910) was a New Zealand nurse and midwife. Of Māori descent, she identified with the Te Whakatohea and Te Whanau-a-Apanui iwi. She was born in Te Kaha, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand on c.1878.[1]
