Alejo Avello is the current Director of CEIT Research Institute and he has been the Dean of Tecnun School of Engineering at the University of Navarra in Spain from 2008 to 2012 - where he lectures Mechanical Engineering.[1][2]
Career
A University of Navarra graduate in industrial engineering, Dr Avello obtained a PhD from the same institution in 1990 and later spent two years as a mechanical engineering postdoctoral researcher at the University of California (Santa Barbara). Prior to this present appointment, he held the post of Head of Robotics at CEIT.[3] His research has focused on computer methods in applied mechanics and engineering, linear cable transmission and the development of an intelligent cabin for road transportation.[4][5]
